Gabe begins when Elizabeth Parks wants to do an interview on Gabe for her "hero" thesis she's doing for school. All she needs to do is ask hims a few questions about the time he saved a woman and her two children when her husband fell over board on a boat because he was drunk. Elizabeth doesn't get the same reaction from Gabe that she expected. Most of her other "hero's" were okay with talking about it, but Gabe just sort of shrugs it off. And Gabe is so used to women throwing themselves at him that he never expected for Elizabeth Parks to just ignore his charms. These two start to build a relationship and soon Gabe realizes he's head over heels for Lizzy, but he has to figure out a way to make her stay with him and not run off again. This book was a lot of fun to read. I really enjoyed Gabe and Lizzy together especially at the end. But I did hate how Gabe treated her in the beginning I thought he was kind of a shallow jerk, but he seriously made up for it. And Lizzy was a sweet woman, with a lot of spirit in her. Over all the book was good, and I really enjoyed it! I look forward to more in this series as well.

Gabe The Buckhorn Brothers Book 3 edition by Lori Foster Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Wow. Just wow. He's hot and sexy. Outdoorsy and down to earth. His momma definitely raised him right! Country boy and hardworking man. Just loved this one
This entire series by Foster is wonderful! I love that there is plenty of romance and humor added together. I also love learned about the continued lives of the previous characters in the earlier novels. I highly reccomend this series to anyone who enjoys romance novels filled with humor, love and interesting plots!
Gabe is this big sexy playboy. He has dated more than half the town. He usually goes for the tall well built women, but there is just something Lizzy that draws him in. I like the fact that Gabe falls for a shy, bookish, average-looking girl like Lizzy, and not his usual brainless bombshells he normally chases after..
I have to admit, I think I enjoyed this one the most. I liked watching Gabe squirm. lol!
I would highly recommend this book to everyone!
In this Lori Foster novel, she tell the romantic story of the youngest of the Buckhorn Brothers. Gabe loves women, all women (young and old) and they adore him.
He loves being a free spirit, but always remember -the bigger (and more reluctant they claim to be)they are, the harder they fall. Gabe is no exception. This is a wonderful read, full of friction and family. Pull up and chair and be prepared to enjoy yourself.

Another great book. Love these brothers. They're so...sigh. Inspiring. Great installment to the series. Can't wait to read Jordans book...again. This is a series I can read over and over again.
I stumbled across the Buckhorn Brothers books while looking for Erin McCarthy books (which are great, too, by the way). I ordered all four at one time, and for some reason they're taking several weeks to ship. But they shipped Gabe early, and am I ever glad! I debated waiting for the rest so I could read them in order, but after peaking inside, I had to read Gabe right away.
Even though I sometimes roll my eyes at the cheesy perfect-ness of the men in romance novels (and Gabe is pretty much perfect), I have to admit I'm a sucker for these stories. Gabe is really too good to be true. He's one of those super-charming men who really loves and appreciates women. I usually find men like that are raised in households with sisters or by single mothers or grandmas, not like the testosterone-filled Hudson/Kasper house.
Anyway, this story was just really sexy. I like that Gabe falls for a shy, bookish, average-looking girl like Lizzy, and not a bombshell. He even wonders himself why he's falling for someone so against his type. Of course by the end of the book, he thinks Lizzy is beautiful. Lizzy is a little unbelievable in her naiveté, but it makes for a good story when Gabe gets to introduce her to all sorts of new experiences.
The book doesn't really have a plot, and the romance happens in record time, but it doesn't matter. The story is written well enough that you just go with it. Even though these are re-issued older books, nothing in the Gabe book was at all dated. It could have been set today or any time in the past ten years. I'm looking forward to reading the other three brothers' stories, and then the new story about Casey that's coming out soon. I doubt they can top this one, though!
The 3rd sect brother gets blindsided by a redhead bent on reminding him of his hero status - but Gabe doesn't want to be reminded, thank you very much! The antics between these two make for a great story as only Foster can write them! Great storylines, dialogue and just enough sex to get your own motor running!
