Joyfully we start out with a newly wedded couple and then on to the birth of a son< Alexander. Uncle George, doctor, is an amazing addition to the story. Christmas with the family is shared and naturally Mr. Bennet spends most of his time in the library but also with Uncle George who seems to keep everyone in the Bennet family under control.
Baptism of Alexander happens and all celebrate this joyous day. Also Jane informs Lizzy is suspects to be with child. Mary spends time with her Mr. Daniels. Weddings are planned for her and Mr. Daniels as well as cousin Anne and Raja. Kitty meets someone and falls in love but hope disappears due to her standings in society by his parents. Her heart is broken but she is on the mend in the end of the novel.
Caroline seems to have found love with someone who loves redheads. Richard reveals that he is in love and Darcy have fun with that in teasing him. He eventually marries. Darcy wants another child and high hopes are then assumed.
I read this book last year and had to re-read it the second time so that I could write the review. I am happy that Mary found love and it is a good match. Kitty is on the way to romance and let us see where this goes as well as for Georgiana finding love lures in the future.
It is an easy read and the story will continue in the next saga.

Not the best, too many bedchamber repeatedly details, and after Richard declared his love for Georgiana is impossible to believe it didn't affect his relationship with Darcy
OH gosh, glad i'm finally finished with the series. Thought the sappy sex would wane with each sequel, but no luck - detracted from the story big time.
part of the series I love , could not wait till the next book . To the writer keep writing want more
Yeah, they have a great sex life. Enough already. This book could have been good but every other page was Darcy and Elizabeth having sex. If I wanted to read about that I'd choose a Harlequin Romance. If you like the Regency era for its clean flirtacious time this book is NOT for you. I won't read anything by this author in the future.
Follows the ending of the movie version Pride & Prejudice (w/ Kiera Knightly), not the ending of the original book by Jane Austin. I personally loved the extra story provided by the author.
Mrs. Latham has done a masterful job on a variation of Pride and Prejudice. This a definitely worth the time to enjoy.
If I might compare this to a comfort food meal it would be as follows; the lovemaking is the meatloaf, the events outside the bedroom are a spot of gravy and the story is a half-done potato. Judging by the other reviews the author must be meeting the needs of women who want to fantasize about making love with Mr. Darcy. I have to admit the language and historical tidbits are not as out of touch as in most of these sequels, but I warn JA purists to avoid this one. You may think I should give this more stars, but I generally withhold a perfect rating for a perfect book, e.g., the original P&P.
