I was tempted not to finish this book. Really tempted. Jennifer, who I thought was going to be a strong female lead was more like a twit. She had no resolve - EVER! I just wasn't impressed. I understand Bobby was supposed to be an alpha-male. But, he just seemed like a pushy son-of-gun to me. I didn't connect with either of the characters.

I like LRJ and will read her other books. But, I did not like Jump Start.
